Hot Tub Hire Policy
Whilst we want everyone to have as much fun as possible using our hot tubs, there are some rules that must be followed to ensure everyone remains safe and has a great time!
General Hot Tub Rules

Please shower before entering the hot tub.

Enter and exit the hot tub slowly so that you do not fall or slip.

No Jumping or diving.
-
No glass in or near the hot tub.
-
No animals in or near the hot tub.
-
Elderly persons must consult doctor before use.

Pregnant women should consult a doctor before use.
-
Please limit the use of alcohol as you can become dehydrated quickly. If you do choose to have an alcoholic drink in the hot tub, make sure you drink lots of water alongside it!

Children must always be supervised by an adult when in the hot tub

Never use the hot tub alone.
-
Do not enter if temperature is over 40°C.
-
Limit your soak time to 15 minutes.

Anyone with serious health issues should consult your doctor before use.

Please always place cover over the hot tub after use, this keeps it lovely and warm as well as maintaining cleanliness.

Do not use soaps or oils in hot tub.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE

This agreement is between you, the customer and TubMaster (South Wales).
Please read the below terms and conditions fully and should you have any queries or reservations prior to booking, please contact us before making any deposit or payment.
No date is finalised until the payment is received and a confirmation email has been received by you, the customer, from us, TubMaster (South Wales).
Should you need to amend your booking date, please get in contact with us as soon as possible and we will try and accommodate you as best we can.
REQUIREMENTS OF HIRE

You are agreeing that you have the following:
– A clear and level surface area of at least 2.5m x 2.5m for Hot Tub bookings.
– An outdoor tap and hose.
– An electrical main point within 7m of your desired location for the Hot Tub set up.
DELIVERY AND SET UP
​
Delivery and installation will be carried out on the the day that your hire period begins, usually a Thursday, which will allow enough time for the Hot Tub to heat up to your desired temperature for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Collection will be on the final day of your hire period, usually a Monday.
The water can take up to 24 hours to heat up in the winter and 12 hours in the summer, so please ensure you have allowed enough time for heating if you are having a special event
We, TubMaster (South Wales), do not take responsibility if the hot tub is not up to your desired temperature in the time stated.
On collection, you must ensure that there is access to the Hot Tub. Should we arrive and not be able to collect the Hot Tub we may seek to recover additional financial losses. On our arrival, the Hot Tub must still be inflated and drained of water.

On delivery you will guide us to the installation area. We accept no liability for damages to your property or injuries to users of the Hot Tub at any point during the hire period.
​
You will provide the electricity and water to run the Hot Tub for the duration of your hire period.
You agree to keep the pump turned on always and understand that should you switch the pump off; the Hot Tub will lose heat quickly and may impact on your overall enjoyment of the Hot Tub.
As stated by Lay-Z-Spa, “Extension cables cannot be used with Lay-Z-Spa hot tubs”. If you choose to plug the hot tub into an extension cable, you do so at your own risk. TubMaster (South Wales) does not recommend the use of extension leads and do not accept responsibility or liability if the use of an extension lead causes any damage. If the hot tub is damaged by the result of extension lead use, you will be liable for the full sum of damages.
On collection of our equipment you do not need to be present, however we still require access to electricity. If we cannot gain access then you may lose any or part of the deposit in order for us to recover out of pocket costs.
ACCIDENTS / INJURY

The hirer acknowledges that the use of the hot tub is at the hirers own risk
TubMaster (South Wales) will not be liable for accidents, injuries, or death caused by misuse of our tubs – this includes falling over on wet surfaces or falling in or out of the hot tub, use of drink, drugs etc.
Anyone on medication should consult their doctor and if you have any health concerns, please consult your doctor before hot tub use.
DAMAGES TO YOUR PROPERTY

TubMaster (South Wales) will not be held responsible for any damage to your property through hiring any of our tubs.
This Includes (but not limited to):

Any water damage or weight damage to structure, fixture, fittings, gardens or grass area as a result of the hot tub location.

Any damage to the interior of your house if you decide to have it placed within your home which we do not advise.

It is your responsibility to make sure the area you have asked the Hot Tub to be placed will not cause any damage.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

We understand that sometimes plans change, therefore if you wish to cancel upto 1 weeks before your booking date we will allow you to change your booking to a more suitable date, at no additional cost.
Total cancellations within 1 week of your delivery date will result in the loss of your booking and are not refundable.

Although we, TubMaster (South Wales), suggest that the heating times for our tubs are approximately 24 hours, the ambient temperature dropping below 10°C can seriously affect the heating times. Although, when booking, we will try to allow for a change in the weather we are not responsible or liable if heating times are longer than 24 hours.
RESTRICTIONS

The below restrictions MUST be followed. Failure to do so may result in damage to the hot tub or personal injury or death.

Do not have glass or sharp objects in or around the Hot Tub.
-
Strictly NO SMOKING in or around the Hot Tub.
-
Do not replace the lid whilst the jets are on.
-
Do not switch the jets on whilst the lid is in place.
-
Do not jump or dive into the Hot Tub.
-
Do not allow animals in or around the Hot Tub.
-
Do not add any products to the Hot Tub. I.e. Bubble bath.
-
Ensure to rinse the filter out daily. This will allow the water to stay clean.
-
Do not fill the water above the MAX line.
-
Do not stand, sit or lean on the sides of the Hot Tub.
-
Remove shoes and outdoor clothing before entering the Hot Tub.
-
Only wear appropriate swim wear whilst in the Hot Tub.
-
Do not enter the Hot Tub dirty, muddy or grassy.
-
Do not have sexual intercourse in the Hot Tub.
-
Do not exceed the maximum capacity of the Hot Tub.
-
Do not operate the Hot Tub with the water level BELOW the MINIMUM line.
Damages due to (but not limited to) misuse as described in the above restrictions will result in the loss of the damages deposit and should any irreparable damages occur we will see to recover the cost of a replacement unit. This will depend on the hot tub in question.
Everyone must shower before entering the Hot Tub. Anyone with fake tan on must not use the Hot Tub.
The Hot Tub will be delivered clean and ready for use and should be ready for collection in the same condition. If the Hot Tub is in a dirty condition on collection, then you may forfeit your damages deposit and could be charged for cleaning costs.
ENSURING YOUR SAFETY

Please follow the below guidelines to ensure the safety of all users of the Hot Tub.

Pregnant women must seek advice from a healthcare professional prior to using the Hot Tub.

Take care when entering and exiting the Hot Tub.
-
Always leave the Hot Tub if you feel sleepy or drowsy.
-
Alcohol and hot water pose a safety risk. Ensure you are complete control whilst using the Hot Tub.
-
Do not use the Hot Tub after strenuous exercise.
-
Ensure all children under 16 years old have a responsible adult with them at all times.
-
Hot Tubs are not recommended for children under 8 years old.
-
If you are on any medication, then you must consult a healthcare professional before using the Hot Tub.
-
At a temperature of 37 degrees Celsius, it is not recommended to spend more than 10 minutes in the Hot Tub.
-
The Hot Tub should NEVER be set to more than 40 degrees Celsius.

CHEMICALS
​
Your health and wellbeing is of the utmost importance to us. Our Hot Tubs are thoroughly cleaned before your rental period. We use detergent and bacterial killer specifically made for Hot Tubs. We bring enough chemicals that will last throughout your rental period and show you how to use them.
We will give the Hot Tub a ‘shock dose’ of chlorine during the setup. It is then the hirers responsibility to ensure the water is treated and at a safe level. We provide guidelines on dosing amounts.
To ensure the water in the Hot Tub is always clean and ready for use during your rental period you must ensure everyone showers to remove any traces of dirt, gel, styling wax, creams, moisturisers etc. The only way the water can get dirty is If you put it there.

Do not add additional chemicals to the water. Bubble bath, foam, washing up liquid etc are strictly forbidden as this will damage the Hot Tub.

Do not use the Hot Tub if the water is not clean, smelling fresh and up to standards advised.
Anyone using fake tan or has face/body paint must not enter the Hot Tub. The fake tan will cause damage to the surface of the machine and this will result in loss of deposit as the Hot Tub will require replacement for our next customer.
LIABILITY
​
Should there be irreparable damage to the hot tub caused by misuse then we, TubMaster (South Wales), will endeavour to recover the cost of a replacement unit. The total cost of the hot tub will depend on the make and model which you have hired. On hiring the hot tub you agree to accept our Term and Conditions and acknowledge that the use of the hot tub is at "you", the hirers, own risk.
We will not be responsible for any damage caused to your property or persons.
We shall endeavour to resolve any issues or problems that may arise in a timely manner and always strive to deliver 100% customer satisfaction. By paying the full balance agreed by you (the customer) and TubMaster (South Wales), you accept the above terms and conditions of hire.
LOST, STOLEN, DAMAGED OR UNCLEAN HIRED HOT TUB

You the hirer are responsible for looking after the hot tub and returning it to us in the same condition and good working order as they were received by you the hirer.
You must pay to us the cost of replacing any hot tub which is lost, stolen, or damaged beyond any economical repair. You should insure the hot tub for the replacement cost.
If you do not willingly pay for any damaged replacement part, or stolen hot tub we will pursue a claim in the small claims court.

OUR RIGHT OF ACCESS
​
We may enter any land or premises where we reasonably believe the hot tub to be, on the agreed date and time of collection at the end of the agreed hire period, we may also need to access the land or premises should there be a requirement for us to attend by you the customer. i.e and issue with the machine.
HIRER RESPONSIBILITIES
​
To listen to / read the laminated sheet with all instructions during set up. Our tubs are simple to use, failure to follow the instructions my result in a less enjoyable hire for which we are not responsible. If you need help during your hire, please contact us immediately.
Once the hot tub is left in your care. The main customer is responsible for its condition, cleanliness, usage and chemical dosing.
